More info

Brooklyn Piers 7 and 8 are currently quiet, underused industrial spaces. This project proposes transforming them into a connected network of public spaces that invite activity and community. The design is shaped by site analysis, research into relevant precedents, and a careful look at what’s possible for the area. The plan includes open green corridors, affordable office space for local nonprofits, and a flexible community center that can host events year-round.

The proposal respects the piers’ industrial past while also prioritizing practical benefits for the community. It offers a sustainable, equitable approach to waterfront development.

The memo includes site analysis, zoning review, feasibility assessment, precedent studies, site plan with a detailed proposal. Full memo available upon request.
